They will sing French paddling songs and display artifacts in their hands-on 1790s canoe camp. Walters and Tesdahl met as National Park Service rangers on the Grand Portage Ojibwe Reservation in Northern Minnesota. They have been providing historical re-enactments across the country for 30 years. When not interpreting the fur trade, Isaac Walters serves as a middle school instructional coach in Holmen, Wisconsin, and Dr. Tesdahl teaches early American history at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Come be part of history!
(In case of heavy rains, presentation will be in the Ice Age Center Auditorium.)
Presented with the generous funding from Royal Credit Union.
