Fall Migration Photography Walk & Talk
Presented by Friends of the St. Croix Wetland Management District at USFWS St. Croix Wetland Management District New Richmond, WI
Waterfowl Production Areas prioritize the restoration and protection of habitat for the benefit of migratory birds and other wildlife. They provide extraordinary opportunities to witness the wonders of wildlife on nature’s terms. Since retiring 10 years ago Mark Ritzinger’s curiosity as an avid birder and photographer have taken him to all 48 of the district’s WPAs and impressed upon him the importance of preserving and protecting wild spaces. Grab your camera and join Ritzinger and members of the Friends of the St. Croix Wetland Management District for a morning photographing birds and all things wild Saturday, September 19. Ask your questions in real time about what you’re seeing and how to capture the moment. Observe how wildlife relates to specific habitats and how that knowledge can help you make better photographs.
