Artist Bio: Barbara Schotl
I am primarily a painter but with an undying love for the process and product of printmaking. My Bachelor of Fine Art degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis was achieved with an emphasis in Intaglio, Lithography and Block printmaking studies. I currently am limited to wood and linoleum design and prints and an occasional monoprint. I enjoy the serendipity of “monoprint surprises.”
I have exhibited at Century College and Janet Wallace galleries. Currently, I am working on a series of paintings and prints with enough cohesion to exhibit at ArtReach Gallery next year. I also enjoy participating in the annual members show at the gallery.
