"Unique Visions: Earth, Fiber, Pigment" Exhibition
Presented by Hudson Art Gallery at Hudson Art Gallery Hudson, WI
Earth, Fiber and Pigment become the foundation for three distinct artistic visions, featuring the work of Lisa Buck, Morgan Clifford, and Anne Landreman. Through thoughtful composition, luminous color and richly layered surfaces, each artist reveals the expressive potential of their chosen medium inviting viewers to experience the familiar in unexpected ways. Exhibit runs July 24 - September 11, 2026. Artist Reception: Friday, August 7th from 5-8pm All proceeds from sales, net of expenses, are donated for the benefit of general programming at The Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, WI. Art of the Stamp celebrates the impactful history of the Postal Service in America’s democracy. This year ArtReach St. Croix’s Mobile Art Gallery is filled with original artworks, a “stamp collection” of sorts. ArtReach is pleased to tour the work of 17 artists: Leslie Batt-Lutz, Wynn Davis, Thomas J. The Korean War (1950–1953) is often called the “Forgotten War,” overshadowed by World War II that ended just five years earlier. But in Washington County, it is anything but forgotten. Eleven local men were killed in action during the war, and their stories continue to live on in the memories of families, friends, and the community they left behind. Their service, sacrifice, and experiences form a powerful chapter in our shared history. Visit the Washington County Historic Courthouse to explore an exhibit that brings these stories to life.

Explore the outdoors with your little one through a story, engaging activities and a hands-on craft. This special program is designed for children ages 3-6 and their adults, but older or younger siblings are welcome. Learn something new while making memories at the park. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Start the fun near the park's visitor center (Traprock St., Taylors Falls, MN). This program is typically held outdoors and lasts about 45 minutes. In the event of rain or extreme heat, the program will take place indoors at the nearby Naturalist Office. The program is free, but vehicles in the park will need a Minnesota state park vehicle permit ($7 for a daily permit or $35 for an annual permit).
