Music in the Park - Flannel Brothers
Presented by River Falls Community Arts Base (CAB) at Veterans Park (River Falls) River Falls, WI
The Flannel Brothers originally formed in October 2015 and kicked off their first performance at Tin Bins in Stillwater, MN in January of 2016. The band has an incredible following that has had them performing at restaurants, wineries, breweries, paddle boats, bars, private parties and more ever since. The Flannel Brothers are almost guaranteed to bring 10% more joy to your day, night and life than if you had not attended one of their shows (we believe this to be a scientific fact... but studies are still confirming this information). They do this through three-part harmonies, guitars, mandolins, percussion and infectious grooves and performances that you will both FEEL and REMEMBER!!

Music in the Park - Tommy Bentz Band
Presented by River Falls Community Arts Base (CAB) at Veterans Park (River Falls) River Falls, WI
Tommy Bentz’s sound gives credence to the fact that many faces and different genres of music have allowed him to create his own sound: one that blends ideals from many flavors of music into one (kind of like at the ice cream store he managed as a teen). The distinct movement, layering, and syncopation of his style, though intense, is immediately accessible to the listener. Some may say that Tommy Bentz's greatest asset is his confident and mature electric slide guitar style; others will argue that his insightful lyrics and adept layering of sound are what keep them coming back to hear him play again and again. Regardless, with three full length albums under his belt - each a landmark of musical growth in a coming-of-age fashion, Tommy Bentz represents a man with spirit, drive, thoughtful journeys, and musical ability that so many musicians strive to achieve.

Summer Concert on the Terrace: Minnesota State Band
Presented by Stillwater Public Library at Stillwater Public Library Stillwater, MN
The Minnesota State Band is the Official Band of the State of Minnesota and has been in existence for over 125 years (since 1898). The band is the only remaining State Band in the United States. While at one time the band received funding from the State of Minnesota, the band is now operated as a non-profit organization with an all-volunteer membership. In the case of inclement weather, this event will be held inside the Margaret Rivers Room. Special thanks to the Stillwater Public Library Foundation for sponsoring the library’s Summer Reading Program and this special series of concerts on the terrace. Their generous support helps bring the community together through music, learning, and shared experiences all summer long.
