Boiled in Lead and Dig Deep
Presented by The Historic Auditorium at The Historic Auditorium Saint Croix Falls, WI
Boiled in Lead is a pioneering, legendary Celtic-punk and world-beat band from Minneapolis. For over forty years, they have bridged traditional folk and radical rock, earning a permanent star on the exterior wall of First Avenue. Their signature sound blends distorted bass, driving percussion, violin, and guitar to deliver heavy, freewheeling energy that transforms traditional global dance tunes into roaring rock showcase anthems. Dig Deep is a hard-driving, gritty bluegrass and string band born out of Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Combining a deep appreciation for classic roots music with decades of shared history gigging in the punk and heavy metal scenes, they play a style often dubbed "thrash-grass". Their blisteringly fast, boisterous live performances utilize traditional Acoustic instruments to create a heavy-edged, high-octane rock-and-roll atmosphere.
